Citroen Repair ManualsEven though the Citroen brand is a famous badge among automakers worldwide, it is not well-known in the United States, thus information on maintainance, service and repair, can be hard to find.
Here at The Motor Bookstore, we stock two manuals for these cars; one book that covers the 1955-1975 Citroen 19, 20, 21 and 23, and another covering the Citroen Twelve and Fifteen from 1938-on. Both manuals are an invaluable reference for anyone who owns one of these cars and wants to work on it.

Citroen - Aerodynamic and Legendary
Citroen automobiles are known the world over for their innovative aerodynamic designs and the legendary hydropneumatic self-leveling suspension.
Originally, the driver used a lever on the driver's side to adjust the height of the car. This allowed the driver to clear obstacles, even cross slow-moving, shallow streams in France, where the car was first produced. The system aided in changing tires, too. The lever in the early Citroens was eventually replaced by an electronic switch.
In 1976 Citroen merged with Peugeot. Citroen has been a well-known automobile brand globally, except for in the U.S.A, where it has enjoyed more of a "cult" status.
In February 2009 Citroen celebrated its 90th anniversary with a new logo, and parades of Citroens manufactured from 1919 through 2009 drove through capital cities of Europe. The Citroen racing brand is a well-known competitor in the World Rally Championship, too.
The repair and service manuals for Citroen automobiles we sell, are the best available. Intended for the do-it-yourself mechanic they contain sequential tear-down and reassembly instructions so you can repair, service, maintain (even restore) your Citroen car like a professional mechanic. |
