HYDRAULIC MOTORS
Hydraulic motors are somewhat less common than cylinders in agricultural applications. The reasons for this are many: ready availability of pto power, limited number of tasks that require rotary motion, and complexity of the motor drive system.

Fundamentally, a motor itself is simple. It looks like - and may be - a pump operating in reverse. But instead of having a shaft that is rotated to produce flow, a motor receives a flow input that causes it to rotate a shaft.

Since motors are descendants of pumps, they tend to share many characteristics with them. Generally the same basic types are used.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS - PART 6: LINES
Hydraulic lines carry fluid between components. This task sounds simple, but it can involve a number of complex considerations.

The line must carry the right amount of fluid, at the right temperature and pressure, without bursting, flexing unduly, or leaking.

Some of the most careful engineering invested in agricultural hydraulic systems goes into selecting the right lines and using them to best advantage.
