The Motor Bookstore offers Ford Motor Co. licensed decal kits, that will give your pickup truck the factory-original look you're after.
These stickers are made with top-quality 3M vinyl, which should last for years. In addition, each kit comes with installation instructions as this is definitely an easy DIY project.
The letters measure approximately 12 inches long total (with 1/4-inch spacing in between them), and approx. 2 1/4 inches high. You can set whatever spacing your application requires as they can be installed individually.
Like in most cases, the basic requirements for properly installing the stickers include:
- Area where the stickers will be applied must be free of dirt, wax and fingerprints.
- If desired (and recommended in most cases) a fine mist of decal solution or a mix of clean water with a few dish detergent drops, aids in the installation of self-adhesive stickers.
- Have paper towels, a clean rag and a squeegee handy.
- Although you can puncture the vinyl to eliminate air bubbles, a proper installation of the decals will make that step unnecessary.
Decals are available in black, white or chrome, so make sure you select the color you want when placing your order.
