Factory shop manuals are great, and we highly recommend using them. It is highly important to know, however, that parts catalogs contain vast amounts of details NOT found in shop and service manuals. For instance, shop manuals don't provide part numbers. They also assume that you already have all of the parts...and that those parts and fasteners are factory correct. When cars are relatively new, that's not much of a stretch. For cars that have been roaming the streets for over half of a century (and have passed through more than a few hands along the way), that assumption is much less likely to hold true.

This parts manual has been loaded with many, beautiful exploded views of the various systems. They show you how the puzzle pieces are supposed fit together. Please scroll down on this webpage to view a sample page from this parts catalog in order to see how well the visual tools are presented. You'll notice that each fastener and part has an arrow and a written description, along with a code number, which can be referenced for greater detail. What you don't see is the text portion of the manual which takes that code number and provides the part name and description, the number of cylinders, the fitment for Plymouth, Dodge, Desoto, Chrysler and Imperial, the number required per car, and, of course, the part number itself.

This beautifully reprinted parts catalog retains all of the content from the original source. It is the definitive guide for parts information for your 1960 MOPAR. As you can see by the layout of parts information, you'll even be able to use it for parts interchangeability options. A quick glance at the line for your part and you'll be able to see which other models were equipped with the same part!

Did you know that a boss is provided on all cylinder blocks upon which the engine number is stamped? Well, you would if you owned this handy parts guide! It would also tell you that on six-cylinder engines, the boss is located on the left side of the block at the front and below the cylinder head. For eight-cylinder engines, it can be found on the top of the cylinder block behind the water pump (except on the Plymouth PP2, where it is located on the front of the block beneath the left hand (driver's side) cylinder head).

This factory-written parts catalog is perfect for service, repairs, restoration and rebuild projects. Clear illustrations and photos show exploded views, as well as component details and more.
