The Author
Journalist Bob McClurg is a veteran in the world of racing coverage. He was there for the Nash-American corporate influence and followed AMCís involvement throughout the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. He grew up in Southern California, where hot rod culture surrounded and influenced him. As a photojournalist, McClurg wrote and shot for some of the most prominent publications of the time. He authored a number of books for CarTech, including Diggers, Funnies, Gassers & Altereds, How to Build Supercharged and Turbocharged Small-Block Fords, How to Install and Tune Nitrous Oxide Systems and The Tasca Ford Legacy.
