About the Author
Gale Bernhardt was appointed team coach for the 2004 Olympic Ganes in Athens, Greece by USA Triathlon. She also coached the US triathlon teams in the 2003 Pan Am Games. She serves and consults on national committees and boards, providing input for triathlon trials and Olympic selection. She actively competes and has been instructing athletes since 1974.
