In 1970, Plymouth kicked off the new decade by rolling out an impressive line-up of models. There were levels and combinations of luxury and sport to suit just about any need. The Barracuda really took major steps into become a force with which to reckon. It tore things up on the tracks and offered good looks while doing it. Plymouth didn't take a back seat to anyone in the engine department either. In 1970, you could have economy with a solid and proven six banger, or step it up to a series of capable V8s, all the way up to monster 440 cubic inch motors and even the legendary (and beastly) 426 cubic inch Hemi. In some cases, Plymouth was even nice enough to warn the lesser cars what kind of danger they were facing, by listing the engine size in bold and beautiful "hockey stick" graphics on the sides of the rear quarters. It seems only fair...and probably helped to spare quite a bit of embarrassment over the years. No matter whether you chose mild or wild (or even one of the many great options in between), you'll find what you need in the pages of this great reproduction manual set

If your vintage Plymouth isn't where you want it to be, don't work yourself into a fury. Just dust 'er off, grab this tome of knowledge and get that cool-looking car performing the way it should.

This 1970 Plymouth shop manual reprint includes 6-cylinder and V8 engines: 198, 225, 318, 340, 383, 426 Hemi and 440 CID. You'll find complete diagnosis, service and repair procedures for all components and systems indicated. It's the most comprehensive resource available, and is perfect for the restorer, or anyone working on one of these vehicles. Clear illustrations show exploded views, as well as component details, plus specs on engine data, engine torque, carburetion and more.

Please note that this set contains almost 1,200 pages, which have been conveniently divided into two huge volumes (weighing in at 7 pounds). It makes for a vast amount of valuable information for the serious Plymouth restorer!
